Applicants from Lesotho applying for Tourist visa, medical visa, business visa, conference visa, medical attendant visa or emergency X Misc visa can apply for e-visa at 
https://indianvisaonline.gov.in/evisa/tvoa.html

Intern Visa and Film Visa to Lesotho nationals would be issued as per applicable fee along with the outsourcing company’s applicable fee and ICWF fee.



Business and Employment Visas to Lesotho national would be issued Gratis, however, the outsourcing company’s applicable fee and ICWF fee will be charged from the  applicants.
     
All foreign nationals, including children, require a visa to enter India. 
Visas should be obtained prior to departure for India. 
It is the responsibility of the applicant to verify visa particulars upon return of passport and before traveling. 
Finalize your travel arrangements only after you have ascertained visa requirements. 
The Government of India reserves the right on granting & deciding type / duration of visa irrespective of the fees tendered. Visa fee once tendered is non refundable even if the visa is refused. 
Granting of visas does not confer the right of entry and is subject to the discretion of the Immigration Authorities. 
Cases where a fresh application is filed during the validity of an existing visa, new visa will automatically annul existing visa irrespective of its validity still remaining. No fee refunds are admissible in such cases.

All foreign visitors to India, holding any category of visa, are required to compulsorily register with Foreigners Registeration Office (FRO/FRRO), only if their continuous stay in India exceeds 180 days. They are required to register with the FRO/FRRO within 14 days of first arrival only. This registration is required during the first visit after the visa is issued. Subsequent travels using the same visa do not require registration. Children below the age of 16 years are exempt from this requirement. Children intending to travel to India must apply on a passport in their own names.

Applications can be filed personally at the High Commission/Consulates or through a reputed travel agent. However it's the applicant's responsibility to ensure that the application is duly filled in and that all information provided is correct. Applications can also be sent by post. The Consulate reserves the right to summon the applicant for an interview by the consular officer. 
While every effort is taken for prompt processing, the Consulate will not be responsible for any delay in process or loss of passport or other documents. 
In the following cases, processing of visa may take longer than normal: 
(A) Visitors to restricted areas 
(B) Cases where certain documents may have to be verified. 
In such cases, the visa section will contact the applicants about the time of delivery of passports. Please note that each application is examined individually and the time taken for issuing visas may vary from case to case.

Validity of visa: Visa is valid for the given period from the date of issue. 
Delivery of Visa: On submission of application, a receipt is issued by the Consulate wherein the date or time of delivery is clearly mentioned. It normally takes 2-3 working days to process an application.
Visa can be collected through an agent who should produce his ID on demand and produce an authorization letter from the applicant.

Carrying satellite phones by foreigners while coming to India is prohibited.
