Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India is organizing the following three editions of ‘Know India Programme’ (KIPs) during the period August 2019 to October 2019 to familiarize Indian Diaspora youth with India’s culture, heritage and also with contemporary India:

KIPs will be for a 25 days duration, of which participants will spend nearly 10 days in a select State. This programme is open only for Indian origin Diaspora youth in the age group of 18-30 years as on the first day of the month in which the programme is expected to begin. The minimum education qualification for participating in KIP is graduation from a recognized university or enrolled for graduation and ability to communicate in English. Non Resident Indians (NRIs) are not eligible. Preference would be given to PIOs who have not visited India so far. Interested Indian-origin youth can submit their applications online through KIP portal: www.kip.gov.in. Guidelines for KIP is available in the Portal. The KIP Portal is open for receiving applications for 54th-56th editions of KIP.
