65th Professional Course for Foreign Diplomats (PCFD)

Each year, the Foreign Service Institute (FSI), Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India, conducts two Professional Courses for Foreign Diplomats (PCFD)from friendly countries.Besides lectures, and interactive sessions including on Indian Foreign Policy, the curriculum includes visits to various important cultural and historical sites in Delhi and institutions/establishments in Delhi.  One of the highlights of the course is the study tour to one or two centers of economic, industrial and cultural importance outside Delhi to expose the participants to the diversity of India and provide them an opportunity to see the country's achievements and capabilities in various fields of endeavour.

Two diplomats each from South Africa and Lesotho have been nominated to participate in the 65th PCFD, from7th March to 6 April, 2018 in New Delhi.
